Preparation
Why fast?
We fast to draw out our spirit & bring down divine intervention - so you can enter into higher ground, things can change & power can enter into your life.
What does it entail?
- Abstinence from food and drink: This strengthens your spirit through self discipline & redirecting resources you would normally use preparing and digesting food, to spending time with God & sowing into the Kingdom.
- Separation: Spend time in God’s presence praying, meditating & studying the word and limit or stop social media use etc.
Practical Tips
What to do?
Abstain from food & drinks for 9 to 12 hours a day (don’t count the time you sleep).
Have one meal a day (or cut down on a part of your meals if you can't fully abstain).
You can drink water throughout the entire day.
Take out extra time to pray, meditate & study the word alone and with others.
Caution
Do not abstain from food and drinks if you are pregnant, nursing or have a medical condition, such as diabetes, which requires a constant food intake.
You can abstain from other things instead, such as social media or idle time consuming activities.
Do not break your fast with solids & do not eat 3 meals in one.
Mind your attitude: you might be more irritable because you're hungry.
Also note fasting is not about you so you can boast. It's about you serving God and others.

Day 8 – Monday September 21, 2026
Isaiah 55:4 (NKJV) Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader and commander for the people.
Pray that your need to become more mindful of the authority Christ bestowed on you should become apparent, clear and workable to you.
Day 9 – Tuesday September 22, 2026
Exodus 23:27 (NKJV) “I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.
Pray that wickedness directed against you shall end in confusion to the wicked and they will turn round to support God’s plans for your life.
Day 10 – Wednesday September 23, 2026
Ephesians 1:18 (NKJV) 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints
Pray for insight to know how to enter deeper into the riches of the glory of God’s inheritance for you and all the saints.
Day 11 – Thursday September 24, 2026

Pray that you will become more mindful on how to use the authority in the name of Jesus more effectively, and pray that your understanding and effectiveness will keep expanding.
Day 12 – Friday September 25, 2026
Ephesians 6:8 (NKJV) knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.
Pray that the harvest of the good that you have been sowing will speed up and manifest for you in Jesus’ name.
Day 13 – Saturday September 26, 2026
Ecclesiastes 10:10 (NKJV) 10 If the axe is dull, and one does not sharpen the edge, then he must use more strength; but wisdom brings success.
Pray for divine wisdom to receive inspiration, strategies and speed to your work.
Day 14 – Sunday September 27, 2026
Ephesians 6:8 (NKJV) knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.
Prat that God will send divine assistance to you at every crossroad, every point where you need help, for all your projects in Jesus’ name.
(Meditate on these points daily, adding your personal requests as the Spirit leads)
